Mark Shone is a Seattle-based fundraising auctioneer and emcee, and he has been with Northup Fundraising since 2012. He is a respected educational innovator, teacher, instructor, and coach who has been involved in education for over 30 years with affiliations with many independent schools in the Seattle area. Since 2005, he has been an improvisational comedy actor with Unexpected Productions where he also teaches classes. When not auctioneering, teaching, or acting, Mark enjoys regular travel to Scotland and Iceland, attending rugby matches, or working on his summer home on Whidbey Island.

 

Mark has auctioneered successful fundraisers for Harbor School, Eastside Community School, Friends of Madison Park, Lafayette Elementary School, Woodinville Montessori School, and Mark is the new auctioneer for the National Nordic Museum.
