Bayside Housing and Services

David Bestock is a talented auctioneer, host, and emcee whose 25 years of improv comedy and career in the nonprofit sector make him uniquely adaptable on stage. Whether he’s steering a live auction or energizing a gala program, David brings a mix of wit, warmth, and coolness under pressure that clients love.

He has led successful fundraising events for organizations including City of Hope, Bayside Housing, Arts Corps, Best Buddies, Woman in the Woods, FEEST, Seattle Public Theater, Broadway Bound, and more. As an emcee, he has shared the stage at events for Childhaven, Fred Hutch Cancer Center, the Museum of Flight, Bellevue Boys & Girls Club, and many others.

Off stage, David is the former Executive Director of the Delridge Neighborhoods Development Association in West Seattle, where he led community development and arts programming. He also continues to perform with Unexpected ProductionsLucia Neare’s Theatrical Wonders, and in theater productions across Seattle, including ACT Theatre, Centerstage, and Wing-It Productions. He co-wrote and starred in Wisemen, an original musical comedy at ACT.

A former national champion ultimate frisbee player, David is also known for his love of yams, plantains, and avocados.
